House of Native Couture is an emerging luxury designer house founded by Angela Suggs, a Native American artist and designer of Lumbee heritage. The House brings her creative vision, Indigenous roots and belief in resilience into a distinct design language.
The House
Native Couture is a fashion house built in chapters. Each release introduces another part of the vision, with intentional materials, signature detail and a clear point of view. Our first chapter begins with Sovereign.
The Artist and Designer
Angela Suggs is the woman behind the House. Her work draws on her Lumbee heritage, personal experience and lifelong relationship with fashion. “Rooted in Resilience” expresses the strength behind that work.
The First Chapter: Sovereign
Sovereign – Founder’s Edition is a luxury black suede hat with a debossed real leather front patch, an adjustable leather strap, black satin lining and the signature NC emblem.
Limited to 100 pieces worldwide, with no restocks and no second run. Each Sovereign includes a presentation box and a hand-signed, individually numbered Founder’s Letter.
